Transplanted Regal Prince® Oak from a 10" Root Control bag to a 21" Root Control bag.  Branching is much lighter because of the amount of scion wood we took for budding.  (October)
After removing the 10" Root Control bag you can notice the proliferation of roots that have been created on this Regal Prince® Oak.   (October)
In this close up picture you can notice the many swelled nodules that were created as the roots tried to penetrate the Root Control bag.  This process in a sense girdles the roots and creates a swelled root tip, which in essence is stored carbohydrates that will allow for great energy (i.e. Growth) upon planting.  (October)
Another close up of how the Root Control bag has created large nodules, as seen in the middle of this photo and has created a root mass that in our minds will far out produce any bareroot Oak.  (October)
